\nThe Robert Owen Memorial Museum is managed by volunteers and exists to maintain a museum in Newtown in memory of Robert Owen, the industrialist and social reformer, and to communicate the importance of his legacy to a wider audience.

\nWhere do we hold the information we gather?
\nBasic contact information is held on-line as part of the museum\u2019s email service, in a \u201cContacts\u201d section. It is accessible only to museum officers and updated by the secretary. It is protected by password.
\nEmail newsletter information is stored in the password-protected, online programme, Mailchimp, which has an unsubscribe button at the bottom of every email sent out.
\nMailChimp participates in and has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S Privacy Shield Framework.
\nWebsite cookies send information to the Google Analytics website where it is held in a password protected on-line environment and never downloaded.
\nGift Aid information is kept locked away and is available only if HMRC need to verify your consent.
